This is really a brainstorm more than anything. I realize that the best way for me to get somewhere with my writing is to spend time on it. To grind. One thing I think I need in the short-term is to work on things that don't have a deadline, that I can polish and can continue polishing indefinitely. I don't know where the best places to find those opportunities are. Maybe most importantly, I'm simply carving out time to write. I'm not going to attach rules to what I write. I just need to make it a daily exercise. I tried to work on an article through textbroker.com, but it was awful. It wanted all these keywords that didn't make any sense and they were only paying $7 for a 500-word article. I had already read that their pay rates were bad, but it's so much worse than I could have expected.
